*Aspen Grove Cottage* (located in front of the Aspen Grove Bungalow) -Newly and thoughtfully renovated, furnished, and stocked, our luxury cottage sits on a working ranch with views of The Sangre de Cristo mountains that will not disappoint.
This is an open concept, two story cottage with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a large front porch complete with rocking chairs to soak in all those views. Open pastures roll up to the base of the Rockies just outside the front door, and true to its namesake, an aspen grove surrounds the north and west property lines. There is plenty of room for your family or group to relax, catch up, cook, and enjoy the solitude and adventure this special property offers.
Nestled in the heart of our four-generation family ranch, we are located in the southern range of the Rocky Mountains beloved by locals and travelers for its abundance of adventure, International Dark Sky, and purple mountain majesty.
We’ve taken care of all the details so you can cozy up, take in those mountain views, and discover everything the valley has to offer: Mountaineering, hiking, summiting a 14er, fishing, rafting, and hunting... to name a few...
Enjoy all the charm and heritage of the ranch from abundant wildlife to Spruce, Aspen, and Pondarosa pines to miles and miles of pastures rolling up to the base of the Sangres.

We’re near Westcliffe, the Rainbow Trail, and the Arkansas River with easy access to the Royal Gorge, Canon City, and Salida.

Need more room? Consider also reserving the Aspen Grove Bungalow located behind the cottage. Both units are on the lovely Aspen Grove grounds and share a large parking area. Cottage and Bungalow guests enjoy porch views from opposite sides of the property and have both reported enjoying the solitude and privacy they are seeking.
Check-In is at 4p and Check-Out at 11a.
Please Note: For stays 7 days or more a complimentary cleaning service will be offered weekly. This includes fresh towels, linens, and a light clean. Cottage guests will be granted access to the washer and dryer Monday-Tuesday and bungalow guests Wednesday-Thursday. These days are subject to change per access needs of the Aspen Grove cleaners.

Cancellation Policy
For bookings made less than a year out: 95% refund will be given if cancellation is more than 14 days before arrival. 45% refund will be given if cancellation is less than 14 days before arrival. Please note: Bookings done through 3rd party sites might have different cancellation policies.
For bookings made over a year out: A 50% deposit is required at the time the reservation is made. The remaining balance is due 14 days before the stay. 90% of the deposit will be refunded if the reservation is cancelled more than 14 days before the stay. If cancelled 14 days or less from the stay, there will be no refunds.
Please note: Bookings done through 3rd party sites might have different cancellation policies.
Deposit Policy
For bookings made less than a year out: 100% of the balance is due 14 days before the stay (no deposit is required upon making the reservation).
For bookings made over a year out: A 50% deposit is required at the time the reservation is made. The remaining balance is due 14 days before the stay.

This was a perfect place for our girls’ getaway! Super clean, beautiful views, gorgeous sunrises on the porch rockers, and about a bazillion stars in the sky! We loved hearing the elk calling and the frequent visits from the deer. Recommend!
This was a perfect place to stay while attending a family reunion. We appreciated that we had better cell service than family who also stayed in the Westcliffe area. We wished we didn’t have to leave to go back to work.
The cottage was exactly what we needed. There was plenty of room for our family. The beds were all comfortable and if we’re being honest the pictures did not do the surroundings justice. The sky above the cottage was full of stars. We were greeted by elk in the meadow across the way one morning, then pronghorn and even some deer. The creek running through the property is amazing. We can’t wait to plan our return.

Gorgeous, secluded getaway! Much nicer than expected. That magical combination of away from it all, yet close to fun activities. And the star gazing was extraordinary! Well stocked, clean, private, and comfortable. Can’t wait to go back.

The Aspen Grove house is very nice. It is well furnished and has a wonderful view of the mountains. We enjoyed our stay here very much. The hostess was very helpful and gave good information and checked with us during our stay to see if we needed anything. This is a highly recommended place to stay
Our kids loved the front porch!
This place is superb! We had herds of elk passing through in the morning and a beautiful setting at the base of the mountains. The house is beautifully decorated and super clean. We loved staying here!

it's such a beautiful and peaceful piece of paradise. listening to the animals step on the snow at night under the silver moonlight, embrace the whole night of Stars... the house is warm and beautiful . we have all the 21 century modern creature comfort. it is tastefully design and classic timeless look .I can not wait for our next visit
Had a wonderful time at the larger cabin this time. It's a lovely, well-thought-out space. Bright, airy, clean, and relaxing, the house has a nice open plan kitchen, dining, and sitting room. Beds were comfortable, showers were nice with good water pressure. Beautiful views from pretty much every window, we really enjoyed our stay. Check in and check out were easy.
Great AirBnB! We love the space this home offers! I can't say enough how wonderful the communication is with Cabin on the Ranch. If we need anything the response is quick either through email or bringing something we need! This makes our second year staying here at Christmas! We love the place!! So cute and warm inside and lots of seating!!

My family of 6 stayed here for a couple days and next time we will stay longer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the house was perfect. We really loved that we felt like we were secluded and the house was perfect. It was clean and had everything you could need. The town of Westcliffe was down the road and had everything that a city would have if for some reason you needed that city comfort as well. We will be back. Thank you for allowing us to borrow your place for a couple days. We appreciate you.
We loved staying here! It's even nicer in person than in the pics. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. The surroundings are stunning and peaceful. We would definitely return! It was the perfect backdrop for our small family gathering.
